Zainab Zahid is an environmental scientist, a published researcher, and a seasoned youth engagement specialist. With an unwavering passion for climate advocacy, she actively supports climate action in both national and international spaces. She had the honor to champion youth demands and policy recommendations at various UN forums including COPs, COYs, Dushanbe Water Process, and the UN 2023 Water Conference.
Recently, in her role to support the Water and Climate Coalition of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), she co-authored the Water and Climate Youth Development Plan and Agenda (YDPA) to support Member States and other stakeholders in strengthening commitment building for young people.
