Hafiz Jawad Sohail

Hafiz Jawad Sohail is a well-thought leader, trendsetter and sustainability champion with a decade-long history of development practices and approaches that deeply resonate in youth and climate domain in his country and beyond. He possesses a background in geoscience, research, policy and environmental conservation laws and his work involves communities, stakeholders, gender & youth groups; a multifaceted experience that harnessed his skills on intergenerational leadership. He works with WWF-Pakistan and is affiliated with organizations such as UN SDSN, Global Youth Climate Network, YOUNGO, Youth4Nature and his recently co-founded initiative, “Climate Forward Pakistan” towards which his role encompasses chairing advisory council and overall strategic management. He has also been recognized for his outstanding contribution for meaningful youth participation into climate processes in his country. His network and engagements have been instrumental in bringing several global and national collaborations into climate and sustainability highlights and mainstreaming. He remains committed with his lifelong journey imbued in learning and ever-evolving and not just for his own self but for his surroundings, and his circle of influence and beyond.
